Born near London, he has spent the last 40 years directly involved in quality and technical areas across a wide range of business sectors from research, sourcing, manufacturing, retail, consulting, construction and testing., including product areas from consumer products, construction, engineering, medical devices, cable, chemicals and IT equipment. Having worked for small and large companies in several countries and having run his own business in four (4) countries he has a distinct view on the quality profession and how it has changed over the last 40 years. He has stated that when you join the quality profession you need to leave your ego at the door and remember you are constantly learning no matter how many years you stay in the profession.
